When in doubt, add shine

Angel eyes, I really love you so
Angel eyes, I'll never let you go
Because I love you, my darling angel eyes
So I tried my hand at my first drawing meme.
"But Tilly," I hear you say. "You're not much of an artist?"
And sure, yep, I agree, but I had fun with it and got to draw a bulldog, so whatever.
My drawing technique? Sketch something until I get sick of getting it wrong, and then colour it in bright colours.
But then Victorian costume wasn't exactly known for its bright colours, so that's my excuse for Holmes' flamboyant purple dressing gown (sure it says purple in The Blue Carbuncle, but I guess this is not the shade Doyle had in mind).

I have to be honest and say I think that's the best coal scuttle I've ever drawn.
Okay, so it's the only coal scuttle I've ever drawn, work with me here.
I had fun with drawing the furniture though. I had a bit of a headache drawing the sofa picture, so it was only when I took a step back at the end I thought, "Um, didn't I have a wicker chair in mind for Holmes? That looks somewhat slashier than I first intended." And I seem to have made Holmes left-handed while I was at it. Good job.
Oh yeah, and the empty meme can be found here.
So, had another weird dream last night. I was stuck in a tent with Professor Moriarty during a snow storm. And before you ask, no it wasn't a sexy dream you sickos. I had a headache and he wouldn't shut up about fractions. But then he quoted Tom Lehrer songs so it was alright.
