Pick up an unsuspecting city pigeon with my hands.

No really, I've thought about it for years. Every time a number of pigeons are strolling all around me the same little thought pops into my mind. "Do I have the speed? Are my reflexes good enough?"

When I was a russ (Norwegian graduate, and expected to do crazy stuff) I carried a pair of rubber gloves in my pocket for this exact purpose, but I never found the courage. Blew a magnificent chance there alright.

Alternatively, jumping from bed to bed in a furniture store.

I've been spending my Saturday night with this bad boy:

The Wild One (1953). And it was good! Well pretty good, if a little "THE SCARY BIKERS ARE GONNA GET YOU, YES YOU DEAR VIEWER, SO LOCK UP YOUR DAUGHTERS AND HELP US BAN MOTORCYCLES AND SKINTIGHT JEANS". But it had bonus Lee Marvin! And jive talk!

I might love watching old movies where I have to accept the common mode of thought of that time, but I'm sorry, I don't think I'll ever be able to regard motorcycling as something rebellious. For one thing, when was the last time you saw someone below the age of forty riding one? And second, I grew up with biker parents. I remember I was puzzled when I talked to the other kids in kindergarten and they told me they were driven in cars all the time, even on Sunday trips! I hardly ever feel as safe as when dad takes me out on one of his bikes.

So yes, motorcycles are something domestic and safe.

Now about Marlon Brando and that leather jacket!
