Still functioning with a slight sleep deficit, which apparently means I find grammar classes completely hilarious these days (Come on, when you come across a sentence to analyze that goes "He found he couldn't do it to his hamster" it's human to start tittering).
I can't seem to get my mind jump-started this week. Which means I feel justified in posting scans from Justice League International (from #25 retitled Justice League America - no "of").
I mean, there are things you are painfully aware of you can do only once - like "reading JLI for the first time". You want to savour it, and then you spot certain milestones along the way. Milestones like, say, Blue Beetle's first coma (d'aww, they grow up so fast!). It's the first time JLI goes for drama and angst rather than comedy and high adventure - and as you all know I like a pinch of angst with my high adventure escapism every now and then.

( I swear not every cover is a movie reference. )
( And a tiny bonus: Our first canonically gay character! )
Ah, the multitudes of ways I can find joy in this silly superhero comic.
