Aw. Thanks for that post. My animals are all somewhat needy; a dog that needed to be retrained around dogs, a cat who has had kidney "failure" her whole life, a dog that needed a place to go and was a little snappish around dogs and strangers. It makes me realize that I will never, in good conscience, get the kitten or puppy I want so badly because there will always be someone to take that cute little thing and someone needs to take the adult pitbull who just needs some extra attention.
