Fanart: Objectify Superheroes Daily

After all these years I can't believe I've never drawn my favourite superhero duo together. And after that heart-rending final issue of 52 I really felt like drawing some fluff.
(And this is totally my drawing for June - it was juuust about finished last night, I just had to put on some finishing touches.)

Through the years I've maybe reflected a bit too much on the difference between Booster and Ted's build and attitudes:
Booster's a bit of a gym rat, proud of his carefully sculpted bod (and fairly shameless while flirting). Ted's squatter, with strong core musculature. He's built more for agility (so not too squat, he's an acrobat after all) - and in spite of it all, he's self-conscious about his body and weight.
Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.
Anyway, I keep learning stuff about drawing anatomy (even if my proportions are still off). Both Beetle and Booster have better anatomy than my previous whole-figure drawings of them, though I was annoyed that I couldn't get the shinyness of Booster's tights right like I did last time. Ah well.
References for this include Felixdeon's incredibly nude reference photography, and a slew of random footballers' (the American kind) bodies.
Now I've decided to more on to Countdown to Infinite Crisis. I've been dreading it for years - so there's a chance there'll be more Beetle/Booster fluff drawings in the future!
