I swear I don't usually look so much like a gremlin. Rain. Starving. That'll do that to ya.

For those on my flist who doesn't keep up with the Norwegian alternative music scene, that's Janove "The Jackal" Ottesen, lead singer and songwriter in the band Kaizers Orchestra.

And yes, tiny_cs, I did manage to stand so close to him without attempting to cut his hair in a more becoming 'do. I felt I was in no position to criticize.

I was surprised the photo came out as good as it did: The girl I talked into taking it was just about to keel over from nervousness, I was expecting a far blurrier result. Poor girl, she was just about to burst into tears. While I am a hardcore Kaizer fan, at least I'm able to remember these guys are human (except Helge Risa of course, who as we all know is an automaton) and that hey put on their trousers one leg at a time (only God knows how Helge does it).

The sad thing is of course that the whole band was there, but not positioned in any way that lent itself to photo ops. At least I got my copy of Våre Demoner signed anyway.

So. Tomorrow I'm taking the train, then tomorrow night I'll watch the new X-Men movie with Tiny in Oslo (even if it sucks at least we can stare at Hugh Jackman for two hours), then on Friday there's the intimate Kaizers Orchestra concert at Mono (I think I'm starting to look like a stalker), and on Saturday I celebrate my birthday with my family.

All in all that means that for four entire days I'm not going to freak out about my term paper. Jesus Christ yes.

Ahhhh jealous! xD You look adorable and not gremlinish although I bet you secretly have scissors behind your back for that shaggy sheepdog standing next to you :P

Staring at Hugh Jackman for two hours is always fun. I intend to do the same thing this weekend :D

Ah thank you, the haircutting did occur to me, but there were journalists and everything, I would never hear the end of it :-P
