Let's see. Let the geekiness flow forth! I'm going to mention everything about it:

Chubby Arthur. I think I'm liking it. And of course Martin Freeman is adorable in a "small-rodent" sort of way. Aww. Loved him bumping his head. He might deserve an Oscar already.

Vogons... I've no idea. I never could really imagine what Vogons looks like anyway - at least they kept the part with "the nose highly domed above their forehead" or something like that. Somebody mentioned these looks like muppets - and I agree. But hey, maybe that's what Vogons looks like?

I'm pretty sure Mos Def isn't my kind of Ford. And I hate his wardrobe - couldn't the costume designer have given gorgeous Ford Prefect himself something a bit more daring than a beige synthetic windjacket? And he delivers lines that would have been so much more fun in a British dialect. I'm still crossing my fingers Ford'll turn out alright.

...And they've turned the electronic sub-etha signalling device the look of a high-tech, impressive... thumb ring. Oh dear.

I like the Guide's interface! Looks like something Apple designed. Ooh, perdy colours... I want one!

Marvin looks too damn cute! He's such a Disney item! It might work out as soon as you hear him speak, though.

Okay, blond Zaphod is starting to freak me out. The groomed beard is giving me nightmares, and he's - he seems too nice! *Sulk* I like the black nail polish though - a little bit too emo, but it might work. I don't like the extra head at all - and the sound! Eech! And it took me forever to get what he greets Ford with. First I thought it was a very excited "Babe-ee!" (which would be a very original-Mark Wing-Davey-Zaphod thing to say), but I had to admit it was nothing more than a "Hey man!". Shoot. But the third arm looks SOO COOL I'm getting all hyper looking at it!!

Weird-man-crawling-across-the-table (i.e. John Malkovich) looks very cool. Gotta admit they got nice effects on this one.

Oh, and I've fallen in love with half-a-second in it. In a very very short flash of green, somebody is doing a sort of disco-ish movement. No idea who it is, what it's for, where it is, when it is and my brain is poking me and saying "I'm pretty sure that isn't disco-related, you know," but I think it's the best moment in the whole trailer.

Why the HELL are they playing the Men in black soundtrack in the end?! Idiots. I can just picture one of the editors thinking "Hey, MiB was a sci-fi comedy, and this is a sci-fi comedy! It's practically the same movie!" Idiots idiots idiots idiots... It better not be in the movie *Sulkgroansulk*

And the last bit. So stupid. So weird. So slapstick. But I can't stop laughing each time I see it. It's so embarassing, I hate slapstick, but the comedy timing so so great. "RUN!" "AAAAH!" *Wipes tear*

And you remember this über-cool T-shirt? It's mine! It's mine I tell you! Muahahahahaaaa! And I even got it from the evil compnay that wouldn't ship to Norway. That's what mums are for...
