A yowl of discontent
Oct. 18th, 2012 08:24 pmNetflix has just been released in Norway. I never thought it would actually happen. Blessed Americans casually taking the wonder of it for granted has been seriously upsetting. Do you realize the lengths I go to to be able to watch four or five reasonably interesting movies every week? Do you realize how starved I am for movies living in this place? Do you realize how much mileage I would be able to get out of a measly 80 kroners a month?
And finally Norwegian Netflix has come, now, offering a first-month-free campaign, and I live in a place where it's impossible (I know, I've tried) to get the internet speed neccessary! IT'S DEVASTATING. I HAVE A FINE TV, I HAVE THE X-BOX (AND THE NECCESSARY HARDWARE TO CONNECT IT TO THE NET) AND I STILL CAN'T TRY OUT NETFLIX.
Well, I still haven't found any serious reviews of service in Norway or the selection. It's probably terrible. Probably.
