Hei der, ser du kem som står her?
Ser du kem som nå ler?
Prøv å gjett én gong og om
Mitt smil ringer nogen bjeller

One week. I ask you. One whole week without a computer probably shouldn't bring me to my knees, but it's no secret I am addicted to computers. I may read and listen to my records every day to keep my sanity, but without computer time I'm a an empty shell. Ah, delicious. Welcome back, crappy computer.

Well, to keep you á jour with what I've been upto:

I'm back at school, and all things considered it's fine thus far. I was bored out my skull at home anyway. It'll be a weird year, since I have to make up for the last two year's lack of general education, so ten hours with Norwegian classes might be tough, but I think I'll survive - we'll start out with Norse texts (Håvamål, Voluspå og Trymskvida - piece of cake, I read those many years ago), then go on to Henrik Wergeland and Johan Herman Wessel (drunken poets is teh luv). All good so far.

Yay, new Kaizers orchestra album! The thing I friggin love with their albums is that there's always a plot hidden and randomized in every album. After you've listened to it a couple of times the whole whodunnit story unfolds itself. Right now I'm trying to find which patients disappeared from the asylum and which character's singing Papa har lov. And it's luvverly music too.

I'm still a bit freaked out: Last night I actually had a nightmare - about Michael Palin. The most aimiable Python ever. I can't remember any details except he was one sick bastard. I know why I had it too; Last night I finally saw Brazil. I think I liked it. You know, young!Pryce as the hero with hair and stuff. Simon Jones at one point. And Michael Palin as the creepiest, sickest, most disturbing guy ever. Only I didn't get what I was watching, you know; It starts out as a satirical comedy, then becomes an romantic comedy and then just goes wrong. And I'll never know why on earth it's called Brazil.

I switched over to a Swedish channel the other day and saw an absolutely brilliant movie called The voice - it was lots of footage edited together with new dialogue and added beat and music. And it was the most eerie thing ever. I keep hearing the chanting in my head, "God made me do it. God made me do it." And appearantly the movie doesn't exist. I can't find one word about it on the net. Damn.

Well, I've been waiting a week to design a T-shirt I've been planning, finally making use of the Raven king verse:
This land is all too shallow
It is painted on the sky
And trembles like the wind-shook rain
When the Raven King goes by
So that's what I'm going to do now. Ta!
