I can't break away;
I must have you everyday
As regularly as coffee or tea

Today I was absolutely miserable on my way home from school. I was ready to brain someone, and not sure if that someone wasn't me. I listened to the Goons and half of the 'Look into the eyeball' album to no awail, until I got to You're getting to be a habit with me and life wasn't so bad after all. I think anyone who can cure my PMS that quickly deserves to have a gigantic poster on my room, so I'm making one now. I want Bing Crosby on my wall, damnit.

The next couple of months I'll have to make a huge project based on three Norwegian books. But first I need to find a topic - right now I'm torn between basing it on Det norske selskab (=The Norwegian society), a group of young Norwegian intellectuals that met together in Copenhagen back in the 1700s and got drunk a lot (led for a period by Johan Herman Wessel), or the intellectual war in the 1830s between the two poets Henrik Wergeland (yay!) and Johann Sebastian Welhaven (boo!), they even had their own gangs of hoodlums, the Patriots and the Intellectuals. Think West side story only with less dancing, music and romance - no, wait! Wergeland's sister had a relationship with Welhaven, it was totally like West side story! (Only, you know, if Maria had gotten sick of Tony and married someone else in the end and no one died brutally).

That could just be the weirdest angle for a Norwegian project ever.

Anyway, here's visual aid:

Or maybe I should just give up now and sign up for the well'tried project on the Kristiania bohemes.
